Capture, mark up, inspect, and export — without leaving your browser.
Full-page, visible area, element, and scroll-container screenshots.
Add arrows, steps, blur, redaction, notes, and shapes.
Pick colors, measure spacing, check fonts, and review CSS details.
Save polished PNGs, PDFs, or reusable .snipetic project files.
Blur can still leave clues. Redaction removes the sensitive area before export.
Snipetic's redaction flattens covered regions before saving — private content is not just visually hidden. Exported PNG and PDF files have no hidden layer, no overlay, no recovery path.
Quick checks for designers and developers — color, spacing, type, contrast, layout, and breakpoints.

Yes, on any standard webpage. The only exceptions are browser system pages — chrome://, edge://, the extension stores, and DevTools — where the browser itself restricts extension access. This applies to all extensions, not just Snipetic.
Neither. Screenshots stay in local browser storage while you work, then are discarded — they never leave your device. Snipetic has no persistent background scripts; the service worker wakes when you trigger a capture and goes back to sleep immediately. The one exception is trial tracking: an anonymous ID is sent to our server solely to record your trial start date, and isn’t linked to your identity or browsing activity. Full details in the privacy policy.
Every new install gets 7 days of full Pro access — no credit card required. The countdown shows in the extension popup. When it ends, the extension automatically drops to the free tier. You can upgrade anytime during or after the trial.
The extension drops to the free tier automatically — no interruption to free features. All four capture modes, core annotations (pen, shapes, highlight, text), crop & resize, and PNG/PDF export keep working. Pro tools — ruler, font analyzer, blur, redact, frame mockup, scroll container, and .snipetic projects — become unavailable until you upgrade.
Yes. Each Pro license allows up to 3 simultaneous activations — enough for a home machine, work machine, and a laptop. To move to a new device, deactivate one from the extension’s Settings page first.
Cancel anytime via LemonSqueezy — the link is in your purchase receipt. Pro access continues to the end of your annual billing period, then automatically reverts to the free tier. No data is lost.
Yes — in exported files. Snipetic’s redact tool overwrites pixels directly in the canvas; exported PNG and PDF files contain no hidden layers, no metadata, and no recoverable original. For sensitive content, always use redact rather than blur — blur pixelates the region but the underlying pixel data is technically still present as scrambled values. Note: .snipetic project files preserve the original image for editing, so redactions remain reversible in the file. Export PNG or PDF for permanent redaction.
Most screenshot extensions do basic scroll-stitching that breaks on lazy-loaded images, sticky navbars, and parallax backgrounds. Snipetic pre-scrolls the page to trigger lazy loads before stitching, hides fixed elements per-frame so navbars don’t repeat mid-image, and corrects parallax at every stitch seam. Beyond capture, it includes a full annotation editor, in-page design tools (ruler, font analyzer, element inspector, contrast checker), and pixel-level redaction — tools that would otherwise require three or four separate extensions.
