Yes. The Chrome edition is free to install and use — no account, no payment, and no expiry.

Does the Chrome version include Pro?

No. The Chrome edition is a free version focused on core capture, annotation, inspection, and export tools.

Does the Chrome version use checkout or license checks?

No. The Chrome edition does not include Pro checkout, trial activation, or license-status checks.

Does it collect my data?

No. Screenshots and edits stay in your browser while you work. Snipetic does not upload screenshots, annotations, page content, or browsing history. For full details, see the privacy policy.

Are there pages Snipetic can’t capture?

Yes. Chrome restricts extensions from accessing protected browser pages. chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, and chrome-extension:// pages cannot be captured. This is a Chrome security restriction that applies to all extensions — not specific to Snipetic.

Will there be a Pro version for Chrome?

Pro features are not part of the current Chrome release. We’ll update this page when that changes.
