Everything you reach for every day — one extension, not five.
Scroll-and-stitch screenshots up to 30,000 px tall. Handles sticky navbars, fixed headers, lazy-loaded content, and background gradients correctly at every seam. One clean image, no manual stitching.
Pen, shapes, text, eyedropper, blur, and arrow. Annotate directly on the capture in a dedicated viewer tab. Full undo/redo stack, custom colors, stroke widths, and export. Save your work as a .snipetic project file and reopen it later to keep editing. Pixel-level redaction — exported files are 100% unredactable.
Ruler with snap-to-elements and CSS export. Font Analyzer that reads computed font stacks. 12-column, rule-of-thirds, and center guides. Inspect element computed CSS — all without DevTools.
Flip any page to dark mode in one click — no reload needed. Hide popups, cookie banners, and sticky bars with Distraction Free Mode. Elements stay hidden across navigations and restore instantly.

Yes, on any standard webpage. The extension cannot access chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or browser DevTools — Chrome restricts extension permissions on those pages.
Every new install gets 7 days of full Pro access — no credit card required. The trial countdown shows in the extension popup. When it ends, the extension automatically drops to the free tier. You can upgrade to Pro at any time during or after the trial.
The extension reverts to the free tier automatically — no interruption to free features. Captures, color picker, inspect element, dark mode, and PNG/PDF export all continue working. Pro tools (ruler, font analyzer, arrow, blur, redact, crop, frame mockup, scroll container, and save/open projects) become unavailable until you upgrade.
Almost everything stays on your device. Screenshots are held in local browser storage while the viewer is open, then discarded. The one exception is trial tracking: an anonymous random ID is sent to our server to record when your trial started, so that reinstalling the extension doesn't reset the countdown. This ID is not linked to your identity or browsing activity and is deleted 37 days from first install. Full details in the privacy policy.
Yes. Each Pro license allows up to 3 simultaneous activations — enough for a home machine, work machine, and a laptop. If you need to move to a new device, deactivate one from the extension’s Settings page first.
Cancel anytime from the customer portal linked in your purchase receipt. Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, then automatically reverts to the free tier.
All capture modes remain free. Your past exports are yours to keep. The only difference after canceling is that Pro annotation tools, crop/resize, and the browser frame mockup become unavailable.
Yes. Snipetic's redact tool overwrites pixels directly in the canvas — when you export, those pixels are permanently gone from the file. There are no hidden layers, no metadata, no original underneath. Contrast adjustments, curves, or any image processing cannot recover content that no longer exists. Exported files are 100% unredactable.
Blur pixelates a region — the underlying content is obscured but technically still present as scrambled pixel data, which makes it unsuitable for sensitive information. Redact replaces pixels entirely with solid black. If you're hiding anything sensitive — names, emails, addresses, credentials — always use redact, not blur.
Both plans unlock the same Pro features. Annual billing is $47.88 upfront (equivalent to $3.99/month) — a 20% saving over monthly. You can switch plans or cancel anytime from your LemonSqueezy customer portal.
No. Snipetic only runs when you open the popup or trigger a capture — it has no persistent background scripts monitoring your browsing. The service worker wakes on demand and goes back to sleep immediately after. It won't affect page load times or memory usage during normal browsing.
After purchase you'll receive a license key by email. To activate it: click the Snipetic icon in Chrome's toolbar, click the gear icon (top right of the popup), and enter your key in the License section. You can also right-click the extension icon and choose Options to reach the same screen. One key works on up to 3 devices simultaneously.
Free to install. Upgrade to Pro when you’re ready.
